Great Lakes Sword Club Fee Structure

(Effective 8/1/2013)

The following fees are currently in effect at Great Lakes Sword Club (GLSC). The GLSC Board reserves the right to amend, cancel and/or change fees as warranted by situations arising during the season.

A) Annual Budget Plan Monthly Pay Rate ($30 per month September through July)

The Annual Contract requires USFA membership and GLSC membership. This option is for fencers age 69 and under, and allows access to all GLSC practices and voting privileges.

B) Annual Senior Budget Plan Monthly Pay Rate ($15 per month September through July)

The Annual Contract requires USFA membership and GLSC membership. This option is for fencers age 70 and over, and allows access to all GLSC practices and voting privileges.

C) Annual Budget Plan Annual Pay Rate ($340 paid in advance, which covers all floor fees for September through July and GLSC annual membership dues)

As option A, above.

D) Annual Senior Budget Plan Annual Pay Rate ($170 paid in advance, which covers all floor fees for September through July and GLSC annual membership dues)

As option B, above.

E) Month to month Floor fee ($60)

This option requires USFA membership and GLSC membership, and allows access to all GLSC practices for the month paid.

F) Daily Floor fees ($15)

This option requires USFA membership and allows access to GLSC practice for day paid.

G) Group Class ($90)

This option requires USFA membership and allows access to a beginner or intermediate class.

H) Parent Membership ($35)

Allows a parent of a minor voting privileges, but requires the parent-member to have a child with current GLSC and USFA memberships and GLSC annual floor fee contract, and will grant only voting privileges.

Note:

• USFA membership is required for all fee structures.
• Floor fees are waived for reciprocating clubs.
• Fencers who want to be released from the annual contract will be charged the difference between the annual rate and the month to month rate for EACH month made AVAILABLE from start of season to termination date.
• Monthly fees are due on the 10th of each month; payments made after the 10th of each month will be considered late. Late payments will be charged an additional $10 for each week they are late. Members that pay late on a regular basis may have their Membership revoked.
• GLSC is closed for vacation during August, unless it becomes necessary to offer practices to meet the contracted minimum 40 weeks of practice.
• Fencers are required to take the beginner class or be approved by a GLSC instructor before participating in practice sessions.
• No refunds for monthly fees or dues
• A member may be released from the annual contract WITHOUT penalty ONLY if they provide written documentation from a doctor that an injury/illness prevents their participation OR if they move permanently out of state; GLSC membership dues will not be refunded, nor will annual contract monthly payments through the withdrawal date.
