Great Lakes Sword Club Fee Structure
(Effective 8/18/2024)
The following fees are currently in effect at Great Lakes Sword Club (GLSC). The GLSC Board reserves the right to amend, cancel and/or change fees as warranted by situations arising during the season.
GLSC annual membership dues ($20 per season — due by September 15)
Plans A requies annual dues paid in the month of August in addition to the monthly fees due throughout the season. Plan C includes GLSC membership for the season in which the class is taken.
A) Month to month Floor fee ($20)
This option requires USA Fencing membership and GLSC membership, allows access to all GLSC practices for the month paid, and includes voting privileges.
B) Daily Floor fees ($10)
This option requires USA Fencing membership and allows access to GLSC practice for day paid.
C) Group Class ($90)
This option requires USA Fencing membership and includes GLSC membership for the remainder of the season in which the class is taken. It allows access to a beginner or intermediate class.
D) Parent Membership ($30)
Allows a parent of a minor voting privileges, but requires the parent-member to have a child with current GLSC and USA Fencing memberships and GLSC annual floor fee contract, and will grant only voting privileges.
Note:
- USA Fencing Membership is required for all fee structures.
- Floor fees are waived for reciprocating clubs.
- Monthly fees are due on the 10th of each month; payments made after the 10th of each month will be considered late. Late payments will be charged an additional $5 for each month they are late.
- GLSC is closed for vacation during August.
- Fencers are required to take the beginner class or be approved by a GLSC instructor before participating in practice sessions.
- No refunds for monthly fees or dues
